Returning for the seventh year on November 4 & 5, 2022 with a two-day event, FactualWEST is a one-of-a-kind conference for producers and crew working in factual, lifestyle, reality and documentary television. We bring together top showrunners, broadcasters, creators and producers to lead sessions and case studies designed to help you increase your skills, learn practical tips and get useful insights you can use to move your career and your projects forward.
The sessions focus on developing the skills you care about most: Writing, Producing, Field and Post and Digital Storytelling. These practical sessions will be led by top talent from LA, Toronto, New York, and Vancouver. Hear from creators, showrunners, and producers from such shows as Oprah’s Master Class, and Pamela’s Garden of Eden.
The conference will also include a Keynote, Broadcaster Panel, Pitch Thunderdome and One-on-One Pitch Sessions including Corus, Bell Media, and CBC, as well as a number of networking opportunities: lunch, breaks, receptions and new this year, FactualWEST AfterDARK.
