Creative BC Adds “Motive” Producer to Board of Directors
VANCOUVER B.C. (November 17, 2016) – As British Columbia’s television industry booms, Creative BC adds Louise Clark, President and Executive Producer at Lark Productions, to its Board of Directors. Clark’s broad sectoral expertise spans television drama, feature films and documentaries. Her leadership will contribute to the successful delivery of Creative BC’s provincial mandate to further the economic objectives of British Columbia’s creative media industries.
“Growth in BC’s television production sector requires vision and leadership at the provincial level,” says Clark. “As a member of Creative BC’s Board of Directors, I look forward to leveraging my knowledge and relationships to expand BC’s opportunity and success in this and all creative media industries.”
Prior to founding Lark Productions in Vancouver, Clark began her career in media at the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Her exceptional work has earned her credit on multiple Vancouver-based productions including CTV’s original drama series, Motive, critically acclaimed documentary series, Emergency Room: Life & Death at VGH for Knowledge Network, and the hit format series, Real Housewives of Vancouver.
“British Columbia’s TV industry includes directors, producers, screenwriters, on-screen talent and skilled professional crews,” said Gordon Esau, Board Chair, Creative BC and Partner, Dentons Canada LLP. “Louise Clark brings significant expertise and a professional network in national television that will support Creative BC to serve this market and its workforce.”
