VIFF Immersed: Call for Submissions

The VIFF Immersed Competition rewards creative achievements in commercially distributable VR and AR storytelling from live-action, documentary and animation. Competition finalists will be showcased at the VIFF Immersed Exhibition – a celebration of the best in immersive storytelling from Canada and around the world, taking place across several online XR platforms during VIFF 2021, September 30 – October 10.
 
In 2020, the VIFF Immersed Exhibition was hosted on six channels — making it the most widely accessible festival platform for story-driven XR content. 31 works were featured across the Immersed Exhibition and Volumetric Market, including three world premieres, seven North American premieres, and two Canadian premieres in the exhibition.
