Workshop – Emerging Producers

Initiated in 2001 by CineMart (the renowned co-production financing forum), the Rotterdam Lab is a workshop for emerging producers interested in international co-productions and who want to expand their international network. The aim of the Lab is to help promising producers develop their network and provide them with skills to navigate the world of international film financing, sales and distribution. Rotterdam Lab offers a place to over 70 producers from over 40 countries. This year, the Lab will take place on a hybrid model with online section and in-person section (circumstances permitting, exact January/February dates TBC). Telefilm Canada's partnership with the CineMart will allow selected producers to participate in the Lab and receive a festival accreditation.
