Celebrate BC’s talented music industry at the 2016 JUNO Awards
BC’s dynamic music industry is being recognized for their wide ranging achievements with more than 30 nominations at this year’s JUNO Awards.
A few of the highlights include Carly Rae Jepsen, Dean Brody and Shawn Hook for Juno Fan Choice Award, Hedley and Marianas Trench for Group of the Year, Alex Cuba for World Music Album of the Year and Diana Krall for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
Newcomer Tobias Jesso Jr of Vancouver, BC is also up for three nominations including Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year for the smash hit “When We Were Young” which was co-written with Adele and Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
BC performers for the evening include Bryan Adams, Dean Brody and Dear Rouge. Shawn Hook will also be performing his single “Sound of Your Heart” and is also closing the show performing a duet with Jann Arden.
