On March 23, 2024, Trembling Records has organized musical performances at The Wise in Vancouver. Artists will include:
bloom effect
Introspective, fuzz-washed, and melancholic sounds through swirling reverb and delay. Joining the dots between shoegaze, dream-pop, and post-punk.
Revolution Above Disorder
Revolution Above Disorder is the Vancouver-based project led by Irish artist Stephen Nicholas White. The music of Revolution Above Disorder is a melting pot of shoegaze, neopsych and electronic-tinged post-punk. Droned-out while also melodic and sincere, White’s songs are augmented by synths, drum machines and heavily treated instrumentation with hypnotic reverb-soaked vocals.
Jody Glenham
Ethereal songwriter Jody Glenham is a whole ass mood — so much so that her latest album is called Mood Rock. Her songs are gentle but immediate, drifting along with muted drums and hazy guitars and synth. Her alluring vocals are always front and centre, pulling you into a dream-like world you won’t want to leave.
FLØVER
“The soundtrack of Tony Hawk Pro Skater Game set in the World of Darkness.” Alternative Rock, Shoegaze, and Post-Punk, from West Vancouver, BC. A label that personifies itself as a band.
Pure Phase (DJ)
DJ Jordan Eshpeter (Pure Phase Night) combines the dreamy with the analog by spinning all-vinyl sets of shoegaze, Britpop, and neo-psychedelic selections.
