The Jade Music Festival hopes to boost Vancouver’s appeal as an international centre for Chinese-language popular music production. From November 28 to December 3, TD is presenting this first-of-its-kind initiative in an English-speaking country—a global conference honouring Chinese-language music with performances, workshops, networking sessions, and discussions
The Jade Music Festival is a global music industry conference being held in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. JMF’s inaugural year (2022) goal is to present a majority of Chinese language artists from Canada, in the hopes of giving the Chinese language speaking Canadians the representation and equal opportunities in the Canadian and international music industry they very much deserve.
JMF will include conferences featuring a variety of panels, workshops, and networking opportunities for professionals and budding artists in the Canadian Chinese language entertainment industry. Topics such as innovation, marketing, branding, entrepreneurship, tourism, and technology will be in the forefront. JMF will also tackle hard-pressing social topics such as women in music and underrepresented languages to create a sense of global unity around our ideas of how the music industry as well as our societies are evolving around us.
